“Stay In My Corner” by the Dells. A 1965 soul song which peaked in the top 30 on the R&B singles chart. It is said The Dells re-recorded “Stay In My Corner” and took the new version of the song to number one.

The Dells were a vocal group formed in high school in 1953. They released their first recording in 1954 and two years later had their first R&B hit with “Oh What a Night”.

When I think of the Dells, I think of honeymoon music. Their songs are perfect for a honeymoon playlist. When you say old music is out of style, that’s like saying romance is out of style. The Mighty Dells are totally unforgettable.
