As we continue our study in the book of Deuteronomy, we are once again looking back at where the children of Israel had been. In order for Moses to refresh their understanding of God’s laws, he first needed to remind them of the circumstances surrounding their recent history. As believers, we never want to live in the past, but understanding our past through the eyes of God is essential for correctly navigating our future.
