Is America still and exceptional nation? Did the founders build exceptionalism into our DNA? Is the current American society capable of being exceptional in the sense of the founders intent? Many believe our exceptionalism is eroded to the point that we may not be able to recover but is that an accurate perception of reality? Who and what philosophy’s have eroded our exceptionalism? Are we still the great America Regan had such optimism and confidence in? These are the questions of our time and the answers are critically important to our future. My guest today is Anders W. Edwardsson, he was born in Dalskog, Sweden. After receiving a master’s degree in history from Sweden’s Uppsala University and studying U.S. history at the University of North Dakota, he worked as a field archeologist in Ireland and the U.K. In 2011, he returned to the U.S. to further pursue a life-long interest in history and politics. He received both a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Politics from Catholic University of America and currently lives in Florida. Radical Betrayal: How Liberals and Neoconservatives Are Wrecking American Exceptionalism is his first book.
