This is a bit tricky. The person interviewing you either has no real understanding of the role of a #scrummaster or they do but are assessing how you perceive the role, your degree of influence within the team, and your decision-making capability.  

A scrum master does not intervene in a decision which the developers have made. They are the experts and if they have determined that something is critical enough to require the team to swarm to resolve the issue, it isn't on you to interfere or prevent that from happening.
