Having a network in business is crucial, but it's time to level up!

I've been playing around with the concept of the difference between community vs network, and in my experience I'd say having a community is one level above having a network.

How connected are you to what you are doing each day? Are you doing all the things for your business just to make money or do you know your purpose behind what you do? Are you getting to know your customers and fellow small business owners on purely a surface level, always keeping them at arm's length? If your goal is just to make money, in the end you'll just have a network, and be missing out on the community that can be created when you take your business relationships to the next level.
