Hey, this is Christopher Guerriero, and welcome back to the Built to Grow Show. Today we are going to talk about a topic that is all about entrepreneurialism. How we know if we are born to be an entrepreneur.
I’ll tell you right now this is one of the hottest topics inside of our forums, and if you go to chrisguerriero.com and you click the link in the upper left-hand corner, I think it is, then you will be able to ask me a question.
This is one of the questions that comes across quite a bit, not just from people who are just starting out, but more importantly, it’s from people who are CEOs of organizations, who are presidents and founders and co-founders of large businesses, and they just don’t know at this level in their career, if they really were born to be entrepreneurs, and they want to see is something that they just walk in the wrong path for, or if it’s something that they were really built for.
I’ll tell you right now that if you have the drive to grow a business, or a brand, or an organization, you’re an entrepreneur. If you do not have the drive, then you cannot build that in. You cannot grow that. You cannot learn that you cannot read it in a book, watch it in a video, you just can’t, literally.
If you are not born an entrepreneur, then every single day in business is going to feel like a struggle to you.
So, how do you tell if you are an entrepreneur or not? Write this down, this is a rule that we live by in every organization that I have. Every single one of the employees that we have in our cultures, every single one of the entrepreneurs that I work with, or CEOs that I work with, they all live by this same rule.
Number one, here it is: You cannot judge a person by what they think or they say, only by what they do. And that’s the way we figure out if we’re walking the right path also. We cannot judge ourselves by what we think we are going to do, or by what we say we are going to do. We can only judge ourselves by the actions that we’ve taken in the past. You have to look at past actions.
If you are an entrepreneur, if you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are an entrepreneur, then I want you to go to www.ChrisGuerriero.com, go to the website, and grab the Built to Grow report on the bottom of the page. That report will tell you how the fastest growing companies in the world are scaling, what they’re measuring, how they’re growing.
The difference between an entrepreneur and an employee is a huge difference. It’s not better or worse. If you’re an employee, then you should be the best employee that you could be, and you can make a tremendous living at that. You can have a great family, you can have a great life. But if you’re an entrepreneur, then you can’t be an employee.
Let me know below. I will get in here, I’ll answer your questions. If you go to my website I’ll answer your questions there. Just let me know what you think. If you want more videos like this, I’ll be glad to share them with you. This is Christopher Guerriero from Built to Grow Show.
