Michael Hobson began with Sunday Friends as a volunteer in 2003.  He quickly fell in love with the unique approach that Sunday Friends takes to break the cycle of poverty and became the first full-time employee.  Now, Michael is the Executive Director and envisions doubling the program’s capacity in 2012. 

 

Sunday Friends empowers very low-income families in San Jose, California to break the cycle of poverty by providing them opportunities to earn the things they need while they give back to their community.
