Can Sound Change Your Life? Exploring Sound Healing with Dr. Harris & Beth Snyder
What if something as simple as sound could change the way you experience stress, connection, and even yourself?
Welcome to the first episode of The Dimensional Life with Dr. Aimee Harris, a podcast exploring the different dimensions of our lives, how they influence one another, and what can happen when we begin paying attention to the connections between them.
In this episode, Dr. Harris sits down with Beth Snyder, owner of The OM Shoppe & Spa, Vice President of the International Sound Therapy Association, certified sound healer, clinical hypnotherapist, and Sound Healing Academy educator.
Together, they explore the growing world of sound healing—from what actually happens during a sound bath to the role sound may play in relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional experiences, and our overall sense of well-being.
Dr. Harris and Beth explore how sound may intersect with the different dimensions of wellness and why well-being may be better understood as an interconnected system rather than a collection of separate parts.
They also discuss the expanding presence of sound practices in mental health, healthcare, workplaces, senior communities, retreats, community spaces, and other wellness environments—along with the importance of practitioner education, appropriate training, and safety.
In this episode, you'll hear about:
