Lauren LaVera keeps establishing herself as this generation's iconic last girl. In their final battle, she unleashes a level of violence that will make for some incredible fan-made posters. She is the key ingredient in these films that raises them above the simple thrills of the first one. Even tons of horrifying makeup cannot hide the unsettling body language that Scaffidi brings to the part. At last, a performance worthy of the monstrous.
