Markie Hageman is a beginner rancher in the Central Valley of California. She has a degree in Agribusiness and is working towards her teaching credential. She is a freelance agriculture writer and Co-Owner of California Ag Today, and an officer for the Fresno-Kings Counties Cattlewomen. As the founder of Girls Eat Beef Too, she is hoping to use her story to raise awareness about the struggles facing beginner, female, and small ranchers.
