The Dirty Dozen… no, not the classic movie, the original Dirty Dozen. As Jesus looked out over the crowds, his heart broke because there were so many people but so few workers (Matt 9:36-38, MSG). So he put together a rag-tag group and gave them a mission: have a heart for the lost and go to them, minister from your own experiences, but stay alert and do not be naïve to all that is around you (Matt 10:6-17, MSG).

You were treated generously, so live generously Matt 10:8, MSG. Being a disciple requires us to get our hands dirty in order to bring people into a relationship with Jesus.
