When people say “Rock music is dead,” what they are really admitting is “I haven’t listened to the Dirty Nil.” The Toronto based trio seem to borrow from every rock related genre -emo, thrash, indie, hair metal - but somehow create a sound that’s entirely their own. Their third record, “F*ck Art” came out the first day of 2021, and it’s poised to help all of North America get through this last leg of pandemic fatigue. The Toronto Sun praised this episode of PGP, calling it “briskly paced, expertly informed, and often hilarious.”
