To celebrate Jon Favreau's remake of The Lion King, the 25th Anniversary of the original, the 30th Anniversary of The Little Mermaid, and the continuing success of the live-action Aladdin, we "Retro Review" the first half of the "Disney Renaissance". Host Rob Champion and Lisa Battle (with a special appearance from Jason Shaw) revisit Walt Disney's Original Animated Classics, The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. We discuss if the films retain their "classic' status and if they hold up in today's social climate.
