Myron finally got his hands on The Division 2, not the alpha, not the beta, but the official release version and boy is it good. Myron gives it a full, flavorful 5 strips of bacon rating, while Anna gives it 4.5 strips due to some annoying glitches with skill deployment. Everything about the game works for Anna and Myron, the guns are varied and interesting, the strategy is every evolving, the enemies are smart and tactical, the sound and level design are brilliant. In every way, The Division 2 feels like a new step in the looter-shooter genre. It promises to offer gamers enjoyment for years to come.

In other news, Google announced it was throwing its giant hat in the gaming ring with Stadia. Myron and Tom debate whether Google’s entry will be good, bad, or irrelevant. Myron is all-in, believing that this announcement will mean more future cross-play opportunities, while Tom is skeptical that Google will stick with its latest “idea of the month.” Everyone agrees however that the future of gaming as a service continues to gain momentum.
