I saw the door to the building sat off at a funny angle with no glass panes, Half the roof is missing, the pews are wind blown and twisted, the carpet is still soaking wet every step that I took splashed…..there was no sound system that podiums were packed together and covered, I saw all that and Still….We had a worship service this morning at the Zion Hill Methodist Church. I saw people walking down the hill and up the sidewalk, literally walking a rocky road….I saw young men helping elderly ladies with canes up the stairs, I saw a single musician with a single guitar play all by himself and sound like a orchestra….I heard testimonies and folks say “Its so good to see you this morning” and they sounded like they meant it! ….Yes, I preached but I really didn’t have to………This was a very special worship service.
