1. Talk to them about what you are thinking.
2. Make the common space our space.
3. Include them in your decision process.
4. Ask yourself - Do I poo poo their idea’s?  How am I not supportive of my kids or their ideas?
5. Say this Prayer - “How can I be more supportive of (my kids names) setting aside my own selfish wants and desires.
6. Treat them with the respect that you demand from them.
