I caught up with Jonny Santos and Tommy Decker (Sr) of Spineshank backstage at GLive in Guildford, fresh off their epic showing at Download Festival and midway through their UK tour.

In this short but loaded conversation, we dig into how it feels to be back on UK stages, the energy of the crowds, and what it means for the band at this point in their journey.

We also get into the big question fans have been asking for years — is new Spineshank material finally on the horizon? Jonny and Tommy open up about where their heads are at creatively, what’s changed, and what might come next.

Plus, we dive into their history with Pivotal Records, how that era shaped the band, and a surprising hidden influence that helped define Spineshank’s sound in ways most fans never knew.

A fun, candid moment with two key figures of the early‑2000s heavy scene — captured in person, raw and unfiltered.

Drowning Pool guitarist CJ Pierce joins Barnaby on The DJ Force X Podcast for a deep‑dive conversation celebrating the 25th anniversary of Sinner — the album that helped define a generation of heavy music. With the band returning to the UK and Europe this June for a full‑album anniversary tour, CJ talks legacy, evolution, and why Sinner still hits as hard today as it did in 2001.CJ reveals exclusive details about the limited‑edition smoky‑purple vinyl reissue (only 500 copies), complete with bonus tracks including the Triple X remix and the Rob Zombie collaboration Man Without Fear — even showing Barnaby the very first copy on camera, complete with a paper‑cut bloodstain from opening it (“Paper cut… that’s good luck right there” ).The conversation also covers Drowning Pool’s resurgence with a new generation — from the Offset & JID “Bodies” sample and their live performance together on Jimmy Fallon (“we plugged in and played… it was awesome” ) to their collaboration with Sorry X, and even an unexpected EDM twist thanks to Sophie Tucker’s dance remix now closing their live sets.CJ also teases progress on the new Drowning Pool album, written by the original core trio during Ryan McCombs’ soil‑tour downtime (“all this music started coming out… nothing’s forced” ).Plus: tour stories, nu‑metal nostalgia, baggy jeans, vinyl collecting, electrical‑work zen, and CJ’s three pivotal albums that shaped his life.If you’re catching Drowning Pool at Download Festival, Frome, Bexhill, Cardiff, Guildford, or the EU dates — this episode is the perfect warm‑up.
