Who is God? Our lives attest to our answer everyday, all day long through the way that we live and love... or don't. There can be no more important question to answer. So rightly this is where we will begin our series on The Doctrines.
Do you know God? What could be more important? We live the way we do because of our perception of who and how He is. That explains a lot, doesn't it? In a world clearly clueless, all signs point to our relational starvation with Holy and Most High God.

Today's passage:
5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God.14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.5 To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?3 Our God is in the heavens;he does all that he pleases. -1 Timothy 2.5, 1 Corinthians 8.6, John 1.1-2,14, Roman 9.5, Acts 5.3-4, Jeremiah 32.27, Psalm 115.3 (esv)
