Jim Goodwin is back on the touchline and United gave him about as good a welcome back as he could have asked for…

3 goals, 3 points and a clean sheet plus a performance that was comfortably one of United’s most complete of the season so far.

Jesse Randall opened the scoring, Lyall Cameron got his first United goal and Kevin Ciubotaru finished off a brilliant worked move before half-time.

A red card at Fir Park, a dreadful opening half hour against Falkirk… and then Michael Forbes popping up in stoppage time to rescue the week.

It’s been another eventful few days for United.

Ronny and Paul look back at the 3-0 defeat against Motherwell where Manny’s early red card completely changed the game, before getting into a frustrating 1-1 draw with Falkirk at Tannadice.

First of all, send our best wishes to Jim Goodwin as he deals with an ongoing medical matter.

On the pitch… NOW THAT is a response.

After 333 minutes without a goal, Dundee United went to Rugby Park and scored FOUR as Kilmarnock were swept aside 4-0.

Manny ended the drought, Zac added a second, Will Ferry produced an absolute screamer and Jesse Randall rounded things off with his first United goal.

Four goals, a clean sheet and A first Premiership win of the season. Oh and United’s first league victory at Rugby Park in a decade.

Another derby to forget.

United were beaten 2-0 by Dundee at Tannadice as the difficult start to the season continued.

That makes it three games without a goal, 46 shots without finding the net and 11 unanswered goals conceded since Lachie Rose put United ahead against Rangers.

Ronny and Paul pick through another frustrating afternoon, six changes to the starting eleven, the mistakes that cost United and Jim Goodwin admitting the buck stops with him.
