A Book to be Treasured!!
This is a wonderful book!! I just love it! I did not want to put it down! Archer, Adelaide and Oliver, you cannot help but love each one of them! Archer, whose mother will not let him leave the house, Adelaide and her wooden leg and Oliver , the best friend of both!
Itâs so beautifully written, and the illustrations are magnificent! It is amazing how much detail there is in each drawing!
I will be getting one for each of my grandchildren, and I know they will love it as much as I do. And they will want to know when the sequel will be released!!
Nicholas Gannon is an extremely talented young man, and I will be looking forward to more of his books!
SUPER CUTE STORY!!
Read this as a bedtime story for my kids (over a coupla weeks) -- I didn't even have to hassle them: at bedtime, I'd just go into their bedroom, and begin reading aloud. Within seconds every single one of the kids was in his or her bed ... not fighting, no whining, no negotiating ... just kids quietly listening!
Great book - my 10-year old daughter loved it
10-year old daughter LOVED this book. She resisted for a long while, but then ran out of books to read for school projects and had to take up this one. Then she told me she loved it so much she thought I should read it! (I haven't yet, but will, I promise).
