When Satan is cast out of Heaven for good at the midpoint of the Tribulation Period in Revelation 12, he persecutes the woman who brought for the male child who will rule all nations with a rod of iron.  Israel flees out of the land, some into the mountains, some over into Jordan, and some into the desert.  Others are take captive in Isaiah 13-14.  But, when Jesus Christ returns, the Jews take them captives whose captives they were, and will rule over their oppressors.  This episode helps a person to understand these events better!
