One focus of the Glory of Kingdoms in Isaiah 13:19 is that it is the greatest of all kingdoms. When it is swept with the besom of destruction in the context of the coming of Jesus Christ in Isaiah 13-14, it immediately becomes a perpetual desolation and desert, never to be inhabited again. Of course, this was not true with ancient Babylon, but will be true with the Babylon destroyed in the last vial judgment in Revelation 16. This glory of all kingdoms is referred to as the Lady of Kingdoms in Isaiah 47:5, and she see herself as a queen in Revelation 18:7. She says this in her own heart because it is true. And, that's exactly the way people talk today. This episode will help a person understand these facts better.
