I was recently listening to some jazz randomly on shuffle, and I noticed a group that was simply swinging their asses off - and with no drummer to help them out, either! I started wondering how many groups were out there in the jazz canon that did not use drummers. It's amazing how many great jazz trios have recorded some awesome music without a drummer to propel them through a session. We present 21 tracks for you to hear for yourself.
