This week we release our episode with drag racing royalty Anthony Bertozzi and Iron Mike Fuqua. Anthony needs no introduction as he's accumulated 18 world championships as a driver and many more as a car owner. Bertozzi is one of the best to ever get behind the wheel and I believe this is the first and only podcast he's ever done. Joining Anthony is his good friend and fellow drag racing kingpin Mike Fuqua. Mike is the owner of FTD Custom Racing Wheels and was a force on the drag racing scene for many years.
Together these guys entertained us for an hour and a half with amazing stories from their years of traveling the country going from race to race. Tune in as this is a great episode.

Jennifer Folk of the Million Dollar Drag Race fame and Dave Connolly are our guests on the DragChamp Show this week. We got into a mix of big dollar bracket racing and Pro Stock racing as we discussed Dave's racing career and running the Million with Jennifer.
We kicked off the show diving into Dave's career driving and tuning the Factory Hot Rods along with his bracket racing and Lucas Oil sportsman class history. He explained the different challenges of tuning Pro Stock cars versus driving them and which he preferred.
Jennifer gave us some history on the original Million, the Million Dollar Drag Race. We delved into her family's 13 year history with the prestigious event and the challenges that come with running one of the biggest events on the season. She explained how she's taken the reins from her dad, Randy.
We also discussed the big addition to the Million this year which is the JEGS VIP Club giving away a brand new Camaro SS to one lucky member. For just $39, you can join the VIP Club and get entered into numerous giveaways and ultimately have a chance to win a new car.
It's a unique and fun conversation with a drag racing power couple.

The Peep Show, Peeps Pennington is our guest this week on the DragChamp Show podcast. The Texas based big money bracket racer was an entertaining interview as we peppered him with questions and he kept us laughing throughout the show.
Of course we discussed the history of the unique and rare Pennington roadsters, the challenges of running a used car lot, repossessing cars, and dirt on his brothers such as who's the best racer, worst loser, who maintains the race cars, and more.
Peeps told us a hilarious story about him and Michael repossessing a SUV, what life was like as a professional bracket racer, what part of the country has the toughest racers, and the challenges of racing on the mountain at Bandimere Speedway. We also found out which tracks are his favorite, whether he prefers racing at night or during the day, and that he is building a footbrake car.
The Peep Show didn't disappoint, you're going to love this episode.
After the show we get the dirt from Jake and Ryan about Ryan's adventurous trip to the World Footbrake Challenge. You'll want to stick around to the end to hear this!

NHRA sportsman great Dan Fletcher is our guest on the DragChamp podcast this week. Dan, the third winningest racer in NHRA history, was a great interview as he didn't hold back. He shared his opinions on NHRA racing, social media, bracket racing, racing for a living and more.
The 3x world champion spoke on how his points chasing days are over, told us a couple of stories involving his Zuma scooter, how tough traveling is, how the competition has improved, and also covered his recent move to North Carlina.
We covered his Moroso 5-day experiences, his son doing donuts in the Stocker, flipping coins against Peter Biondo, and how he'd love to win in Top Dragster so he could catch Jeggie with wins in seven different classes.

Bottom Bulb superstar Slick Rick Baehr joins the DragChamp Show this week! Baehr, the DragChamp May Racer of the Month, talked about the history of his beloved Camaro, how he wadded it up a time or two, why he likes Bottom Bulb racing, and how he doesn't like racing without his family.
We quizzed him on his days of racing Super Stock and the time when he won and raced a dragster. He shared his favorite win, no surprise there, along with the challenges of running his daughter and her 11.90 dragster.
Gleghorn joined the show about halfway through which brought us some laughs as he was several deep into the Ultra's. Rick discussed his Dream Team domination and the pressure he felt when the final race was on his shoulders. The most interesting part was listening to him share his recipe for success in drag racing. And the funniest part was he and Jake discussing the Baehr Racing contingency program.

After taking a few weeks off, the guys are back and they have a special guest for you. David Wright of the famous Double00ShitShow Facebook page joins the guys for a fun conversation.
David and Jake are just getting back from Jake's Bernie Mann Memorial race and they gave us all the dirty details such as Nick Hastings mud hogging adventure, riding big girls (elephants that is), driving race cars to Chick-fil-a, throwing out racers, and more. We got David to tell the Matt Exner nitrous fire story and he and Ryan also revisited the DJ Loser story.
Ryan hung out with Jeff Serra and Tyler Crossnoe at VMP over the weekend and we get skinny on that too. You know if Tyler was at a racetrack there was rain involved.
After our conversation with David, Ryan discussed his Tuesday night Street class victory in the Dad Van along with the guys upcoming race plans.

The guys enjoyed their vacation last week so much, they decided to take another week off. To keep you entertained, we have a encore episode of our interview with sportsman racing great Luke Bogacki. Luke, co-host of the popular Sportsman Drag Racing Podcast with Luke and Jed, kept us entertained with stories of racing for a living and running the wildly successful This is Bracket Racing online driving school.
The man they call Cool Hand shared stories such as his 26-mile moped trip, his toughest opponent, racing in Stock Eliminator, and so much more. There's a reason this is one of our most popular episodes so sit back and enjoy.

The team is taking a vacation this week but we've got you covered with an encore episode of one of the funniest podcasts we've recorded. Chad Axford overshared from the very beginning of the episode and kept oversharing throughout. We got some great stories out of him including a bathroom accident after eating at the Aria in Vegas, ex-girl friend stories, fun times with Greg Hicks, and battling with the NHRA at the Hill.
If you missed this one the first time around, or if it's the second time you've listened, this one is worth your time. Be prepared though, this is an R rated episode!

The driver of the Jelly Bean Chevette, Brandon Umberger, is our guest this week on the DragChamp Show. With Jake and Ryan both out of pocket, Gary Don took the lead and interviewed one of the best bottom bulb racers on the West Coast and arguably in the country.
Umberger, from Grand Junction, Colorado, was a great interview and the two covered topics ranging from racing a Chevette to why Brandon prefers Bottom Bulb racing over Top Bulb. We got the skinny on the history of the Jelly Bean including where the name came from, how Brandon acquired it, and the parts and pieces that make it so consistent.
The discussion continued with a deep dive on the vast amount of talented Bottom Bulb racers on the West Coast and how Brandon would like to move East in order to race more often. We learned how he originally had dreams to plan professional baseball, how he hates quarter mile racing, and how much his wife and kids support his racing program.

This week on the DragChamp Show, Shane Sweigart of Competitive Suspension fame joins the show. The self-proclaimed nerd was a great interview. While we did get into the details of shocks and suspensions, we learned so much about him and his company. Since Jake and Shane are such good friends, it was fun listening to them banter back and forth.
In addition to suspensions, Shane is also a racer and a race promoter. We learned about FRBR Promotions which Shane runs with his partner Andy Anderson. We dove into the details of their events, why they put on races, and what their goals are. Learn more about Competitive Suspension here.
Ryan was out of pocket this week so Jake and Gary carried the show. After the interview they discussed Jake's upcoming Bernie Mann Memorial No Delay Nationals race and briefly touched on the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series race from I-30 Dragway.
