Our two stories on this edition of Valley Writers Read were written by Paul Hernandez and Angelo Angarano. "The Dragonfly" is about a electronic device that can fly and do some nefarious spying. "The Tale of Robin and Roberta Robinette" is about Robin and Roberta, who become a little queasy after indulging in too many over-ripe Pyrocantha bush berries.

Valley Writers Read was a KVPR program that showcased readings by authors from the San Joaquin Valley, both professionals and amateurs. Longtime educator and author Franz Weinschenk hosted the show before his death in 2018. The program is no longer in production, but is still available on the web and as a podcast.
