1 Kings 19:14-21

Elijah and Elisha both served as God's prophets. Elisha was an eager prophet. Elijah was a very tired prophet. Most days we might feel like taking up the calling of faith and following Jesus is a tiring experience. It's a full time job! There's no taking breaks in our faith life. We feel like the tired prophet, Elijah. But God has an answer for us when we get tired in our calling of faith. God gives his Son to take up the mantle of Savior so that we can also be eager to take up our callings and one day enter God's rest.
