What the BEEP am I doing here?

The early days of figuring out your purpose - Jess Warner

Listen Later

When you first start to figure out that out have been living life based on other people's beliefs and not your own, it can be really overwhelming and daunting as you start to head down the yellow brick road of "WTF do I actually want for myself and my life". It's very easy to watch those who have been doing to personal development work for years and getting amazing results and ask "why am I not there yet", or even think "I don't even know what purpose is, what all these purpose people talking about". My beautiful amazing wonderful friend Jess, who I met 4yrs ago, totally gets this. She is a successful work from home mother who is trained and used to work in early childhood before having her own babies and it wasn't until the birth of her first child that she started to 'wake up' and look into things more. The realisation that she is now fully responsible for the life of this child and all the decisions being made for her are on Jess, she wanted to understand things more, look into things more and do what she could to do what's best for her daughter. Enter the Rabbit Hole of unlearning all we have been fed and actually looking at things critically, questioning things and asking yourself "how does this feel for me and my life". If you are feeling a bit lost and "when the F is my purpose going to drop into my life", this is the episode for you.
