One week after Jesus arose from the he appeared again to them where the apostles had gathered. Thomas who had been absent the evening of Jesus resurrection when he had appeared was with them this time. He had expressed skepticism when the Ten had told him they had seen the Lord. This time Thomas is with them! Jesus suddenly appears and said to him: “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” John 20:27
