The right thing to do and what appears to be the right thing to do are not necessarily the same thing.
Mike Rowe, of "Dirty Jobs" fame recently spoke at MDM in an interview-style discussion we had.
He tells a story of a sheep farm he visited where the rancher was needing to castrate a couple of sheep on his farm.
The reason they castrate sheep is to keep the bloodlines pure and keep them from mating within their same bloodline.
The process for doing this is usually to simply cut off the testicles and castrate the sheep.
For generations, that's how they've done it.
Mike cited he wasn't comfortable with the way they do it, so he called PETA.
PETA suggests they put a rubberband on the sheep's balls and leave it there until they fall off days later.
Well, this didn't work as well as they thought it would.
The sheep ended up being in tremendous amounts of pain and ended up going through an arduous process just to get the same result.
The sheep suffered.
My point of telling you this........
The world wants to tell you what they think is best.
You know what's best.
Shut out the world.
Do what you know is best.
