The reality is sometimes we’re going to feel like we’re doing pretty dang good and things are working our for us, and other times we feel like a burning pile of worthless garbage.
In this episode I break down this ebb and flow of self confidence, with the goal of normalizing it and also providing 4 strategies for navigating it.
1. Normalizing the ebb and flow of self confidence and catching our thoughts, then letting them flow through us without getting emotionally caught in them.
2. Our self worth is NOT attached to our success or failures. We are worthy already, and to make sure our brain understand that we must celebrate our PROGRESS.
3. CHECK YOUR THOUGHTS. What’s on loop? What are the loudest things in your head these days, and are they serving you?
4. Who are you hanging out with? You want to make sure that you have support and a safe place to share your fears, and know that they will be the wind in your sails when you need it.
The process of these confidence peaks and valleys can be tough, but as far as I can tell, it’s just part of the journey so figuring out how to ride the waves can really help us move through them.
