The post-Christian world seems to have forgotten or will not recognize the mystical aspects of Christianity. Religious arguments over the doctrines of grace and works stem from a misunderstanding of the importance of ordinances performed and the power they have within a given faith.   As the Western world seems to be falling into nihilism and meaninglessness, many influencers are flocking towards Eastern religions that claim an unbroken 2000-year tradition to find truth.  Questions about the enlightenment, materialism, and the nature of government infiltrating religion itself address the issue as to where the modern-day Woke movement came from.
