▶ General News: Is it just me… or are we seeing more stories of sink holes lately? I’m seeing sink hole stories, weird earth quake stories, and methane rivers you can light on fire. Four staff members have resigned from a southeastern Oklahoma veteran’s facility rather than face the possibility of getting fired, after a resident was found to have maggots in a wound. The first family has spent over $10 million a year on travel and vacations, and the still growing bill has crossed over $85 million in eight years, according to a watchdog group. The Pentagon has buried an internal study that exposed $125 billion in administrative waste in its business operations amid fears Congress would use the findings as an excuse to slash the defense budget, according to interviews and confidential memos obtained by The Washington Post.

▶ Economics: The upheaval is here. Forbes reports that “half of the workforce is expected to be replaced by robotics in the next 20 years. Some go further and predict 80% of jobs to disappear in the next 10 years.” I have also read that at least 60% of the jobs that will exist in the near future have not even been invented yet. I’ll tell you what I think this means. November saw very little change in the U.S. labor market, according to a new employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the trade deficit widened. Jim Sinclair says we’ve killed capitalism.
