The Edmonton Oilers picked up a massive 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues last night at Rogers Place, snapping out of a recent slide and getting a huge confidence boost with just a handful of games remaining in the regular season. While the win didn’t officially clinch a playoff spot — thanks to the Calgary Flames falling to the Ducks in regulation — it was a major step forward for a team that’s been looking to get back on track.

Connor McDavid made his return to the lineup and looked as dominant as ever, racking up three assists and playing a crucial role in the Oilers’ late-game comeback. The night also featured some much-needed depth scoring, with Connor Brown potting two goals and Viktor Arvidsson adding another. It was a full team effort, and exactly what the Oilers needed at this point in the season.
