The Democrats control the White House, the Senate, and the House. Despite holding slim majorities in Congress, the Democratic Party is poised to pass new bills and eliminate the Senate filibuster.  The Republican Party is split between the Never Trumpers and the Trumpist Republicans, who might split into their own party. The Democratic Party is younger, has better outreach and ground game, more enthusiastic voters, and is far more diverse.
