And Europe and China have also been distracted from doing anything much. But climate change marches on and remains the elephant in the room, to wit, all the extreme weather, droughts and floods. Do we not understand how it is increasingly changing and undermining our quality of life, public health and the global economy. What should we do. How likely is it that we will take useful steps in time to prevent a dreadful result. What does the future really look like.
