Lara J. Day is the author of the 13 Sacred Nights Oracle. She is on a mission to reclaim the hyper-commercialized holidays and return the Soul to the Solstice. Lara is also the creator of Neurogenic Qigong, her own unique and innovative healing method which interweaves Chinese energy medicine with tension-&-trauma-releasing, neurogenic, tremor work. This super-Piscean Eclipse Season challenges you to listen deeply to your inner knowing and discern reality vs. illusion - in the midst of heightened sensitivity, emotional overwhelm, collective chaos and a mega-dose of MYSTERY.

Eclipses are massive turning points, portals into new realities, a shedding of outgrown forms and versions of self… and times when you can feel very much in the dark. The first Eclipse was September 7, and the second - likely more intense - is coming up next Sunday, September 21, just before the Equinox.

The Sun and South Node in Virgo can stir up worry, anxiety, an urge to control, and a buttload of mental energy trying to analyze the details and figure out what’s going on. This approach will take you nowhere - except into greater confusion and frustration.

Instead, the most productive way forward is to embrace the Pisces North Node - tune into your feelings and intuition, trust what you’re sensing on a subtle level, and stay focused on the higher vision and bigger picture of your soul’s journey. Release what no longer holds energy for you and surrender to the flow of Life.

Sounds simple, but not necessarily easy. We’ve been so conditioned (or traumatized) to stay focused on the external, to look outside ourselves for guidance, to over-rely on our minds, to defer to what seems logical and practical and discount the “little voice” of our soul, the dreams and divine whispers trying to get our attention.

Tammy Roth is a quantum astrologer, family constellations facilitator, artist, author and retired holistic psychotherapist. I became an astrologer in the late 90s, during my first Saturn return. I had been interested in astrology since I was 13, reading whatever books I could get my hands on and secretly analyzing the charts of friends and family.

But as I came into my Saturn return - a massive turning point that everyone experiences around age 29 - I became obsessed. I was living in New York City, trolling the esoteric and “occult” sections of bookstores for any tomes on the Cosmic Science, astro-geeking-out with a friend who shared my passion, and eventually taking a class with an actual astrologer.

To build my skills and confidence, I started doing free readings for friends. They told their friends, and I got paid for my first reading in 1999. Thus began my career as an astrologer.

Now, almost 30 years later, as I come into my second Saturn return, I’m still madly in love with astrology, and it still blows my mind on a regular basis. Rather than resting on my decades of experience and thinking I’ve mastered this astrology thing and now have all the answers (as if!), I’m asking myself - what next??

Solstice greetings!

The chart of yesterday’s Solstice - the “birth chart” of the new season and blueprint for the next three months - is not messing around! The Cancer Sun conjoins with expansive Jupiter, and activates the tense square to Saturn and Neptune in Aries. The Solstice chart also features TWO yods or “fingers of fate” - dynamic, pressurizing configurations - involving Mars and Pluto.

I went into all the Virgoan details about the Solstice in last week’s livestream for founding subscribers, but the gist is: the energies are speeding up, and we’re under relentless pressure to evolve.

Yes, world events are reflecting the most distorted expression of planetary energies (Neptune in Aries - the fog and deception of war). But at an individual level, we have the power to co-create with the cosmic forces for the highest good. And these forces are about to get even MORE dynamic…

On July 7, Uranus, planet of revolution and liberation, will move into Gemini, the sign of perception, communication and connection. Slow-moving Uranus was last in Gemini 1941-1949, so for many, this will be the first Uranus in Gemini transit in our lifetimes.

Uranus in Gemini wants to shatter old, limiting thought forms, expand your mind into wild new territory, liberate your radical message, and inspire exciting new connections aligned with your authentic self.

A proud product of public education, John Coleman received his undergraduate degree in history from Western Connecticut State University. Alas, that was to be the end of his flattering academic titles. Unwilling to once again become a debt slave to usurers, his graduate studies were scotched at the half-way point. John wasted over a decade of his professional life attempting to establish a high school for a community who took neither themselves nor their worldview seriously. Burned by these unseemly experiences, on Holy Saturday of 2013 Apocatastasis Institute was founded.

The Institute primarily exists to protect the humanities in se, and to provide a haven for academics in a disintegrating professional field. The author of Hurt: Some Thoughts On Disillusion, Distrust, and Disorientation These Last Few Years (2015), The Trotsky Train: Some Words To The Discupulate (2018), An Excess Of Love (2024), and Pearls Before Swine (2024), John daily continues his work of restoring formal classroom learning in light of the proper personal, social, and political ends of a school.

In 2025 John won the Excellence In Education award from the Education 2.0 conference organization.

I first got to know John a few years ago, when I studied Latin under his excellent tutelage at Apocatastasis. I interviewed him for the podcast back in November, 2022: Agency, Vision and Discipline.

John and I intended to focus this conversation on health and the connections between health and education, but we ended up having a much broader discussion, exploring questions like: What makes a healthy society? What’s the role of education in reforming society? And how does a conditioned lack of agency impede that reform?
