Genesis 24:67 (KJV)
One of the most overlooked details in all of Scripture is not simply that Isaac married Rebekah—it is where he brought her.
The Bible does not say he built her a new home.
It says he brought her into his mother's tent.
Prophetically, this is more than geography. It is psychology. It is family systems. It is emotional inheritance.
The Hebrew word translated comforted is נָחַם (nacham). It means to be consoled, to sigh deeply, to find relief after grief. Notice the order of the verse.
Isaac marries.
Marriage became the place where he sought relief from unresolved grief.
That is a dangerous foundation for any covenant.
God never intended your spouse to become your emotional healer in place of Him.
