With the hashtag "leaving MAGA" trending on social media, gay roommates Daniel (Gen X) and Julio (Gen Z) discuss the motivations behind right-leaning voters abandoning newly elected President Trump. They theorize that while many Democratic voters are more community-minded when it comes to elections, Republicans seem to often vote solely for their own interests. Is it a question of empathy and, if so, how does one become more empathetic and teach those traits to others?
