Today we conclude a three part sermon series on the mockery that Jesus both endured at the cross and continues to take on today.
In Luke 24, Jesus walks with two disciples on the road to Emmaus and shows them from “Moses and all the Prophets” that the Christ would save through suffering.
In week one, we explored how the Old Testament foretold the mockery Jesus would face. Last week, we saw how the Resurrection became His vindication, yet the world still mocks Him today.
This week we turn to His return, when that mockery will end forever.
Join us as we walk through 2 Peter 3:8 to 15a and consider both the patience of God in this present moment and the coming day when our King will be fully revealed and never mocked again.
