Picking up from where he left off last week, Jonathan reminds us that we always get crooked paths when we lean on our own understanding. The Teacher, the Holy Spirit, is always speaking, and always leading us in straight paths of righteousness. Using the story of Pauls trip to Rome, and his shipwreck in Acts 27 - 28, he teaches about the consequences of reacting to hurry worry. On the other hand, once we repent and give up all hope in ourselves and our human efforts to get out of the storm, the Lord is ready to show us unusual kindness, hospitality, honor and re-supply all our needs. God protects, redeems and is working all things for our good!
