Fighting in the streets of Culiacan between members of the Sinaloa Cartel and the Mexican Armed Forces comes to an end with the Cartels ceasing their operations. The Sinaloa Cartel issues an ultimatum to the Mexican Government threatening widespread destruction if their leader is not released.
