The Ending of my On & Off Relationship and Breakup Story
In today's episode I talk about the final ending of my on again off again relationship and share common fears people may have when avoiding a breakup. Disclaimer :this is only my perspective and not the full story. There were many details left out of this conversation and the fact that my ex isn’t here to defend himself, please have a compassionate, open mind. I am not always right nor perfect; there were many things I did in this relationship that I’m not proud of such as doing things behind my partners back, etc. It is all a process and a learning curve. We can never go back but we can take what we know now to move forward. I can now clearly see this relationship was highly dysfunctional but I also contributed to its toxicity. It’s not about blame but accountability. I’m not trying to portray my ex as a monster… he had good intentions however I recognize this relationship became more of a trauma bond than anything else. A relationship should be EQUAL, not a push-pull power dynamic where one person feels like a parent disciplining you.
