"The Endless Stair" is designed for four to six characters of levels 15-20. The adventure unfolds in and around Daelzun's Rest, a roadside inn, leading players through a dangerous forest to the tomb of the Cheiromar and ultimately, the mysterious Endless Stair. The module includes detailed descriptions of the inn's inhabitants, the forest environment, the tomb's layout, and the challenging encounters within the Seat of Power. It features unique monsters, spells, and magical items, along with pre-rolled characters for those who prefer not to create their own. The narrative focuses on the ex-apprentices of Cheiromar, Lathkoon and Zelazel, who pursue the players for the magical treasures within the tomb.
