• The main warning is not to force the wrong season, especially comparing your building phase to someone else’s expansion or pushing for growth when your body or business needs recovery.

One of the very first pieces of business advice I ever got was to build multiple income streams.

Did I listen?

Of course I fucking didn't.

In my first business, I put ALL of my eggs into one basket.

I was the aloe lady. I built my network marketing business, left my job within six months after growing my income to four times what I'd been earning, put my blinkers on and went ALL in.

And for a while? It worked brilliantly.

Until it didn't.

The company changed its compensation plan and I found myself working four times harder while earning four times less.

That was a pretty fucking big lesson.

Since then, I've built multiple income streams through different offers, businesses and even industries – and it's given me a completely different perspective on what financial security can look like as a business owner.
