Jeff Jackson is the engineer responsible for Brent Faiyaz’s solo debut album ‘Sonder Son’ which landed #16 on Rolling Stone’s 20 Best R&B Albums of 2017 list. You may know Brent from his hook in GoldLink’s break-through hit ‘Crew’. In this episode, Jeff talks about getting into the engineering game, being a runner, going to the Dominican Republic to work on the ‘Sonder Son’ project, and working with other artists such as Kanye, Rihanna, Miguel and more.
