Publisher's Summary:
This book aims to give logically consistent reasoning for the dismissal of the idea of intelligent design through philosophical discourse based on given evidence of how our universe works. In these minutes, I will address the logical fallacies I see in any intelligent design model that poses the notion of a creator god who created the universe with specific intent and purpose. It is my hope that I can offer many pieces of evidence that show such an idea of an intelligent designer is not only logically inconsistent but also absurd. To do this, I will focus on three main points of contention: intelligence, design, and purpose. By taking an in-depth look at those ideas, I hope to show that intelligent design theories only raise more questions than answers.

Go for It
I found the Amazon description interesting, so I attempted to check this out. However, that failed, so I had to buy this. I thought such a short read wouldn't be that bad until I found myself questioning the preface. I just misunderstood some of it, though. On the plus side, my opinion changed within a few pages.
First off, the author answered a question I had about philosophy being better than science for this type of question. Also, I all of his arguments were solid and well-made. However, he digressed a little instead of just getting to it. In addition, I liked how he acknowledged some criticisms and made a few good points.
All that said, I found this to be a worthwhile read. I figured that everybody should give this a chance. However, I wanted to recommend that you go for the Kindle version. That might be a better buy than the paperback, considering how short this was
Thought provoking
A philosophic argument against intelligent design which is clearly and rationally explained. Whether you are religious or agnostic this book presents rational ideas that are very thought provoking. If you have any questions about religion read this with an open mind.
Excellent explanation
Easy, quick read on a complex subject. I have a better understanding of my own beliefs and how to explain to others. Too bad some people are too closed minded to read this.
Great read
Easy to follow, informative, interesting and delightful. I would definitely purchase more from C.Rigsby in the future
Good book. Well thought-out and insightful
Good book. Well thought-out and insightful. Certainly demonstrates that god must not be much of an engineer since all kinds of things are so poorly "engineered."
