Believers found that their soul and heart were vexed by the sheer magnitude of sin and iniquity. Today in the world we face many of the same challenges. We live in a time that is full of division, hate, violence, murders, and false doctrines. Not to mention the backslidden whore church. The lessons were never more needed for the believers today than what the Apostle tells us.

Perilous Times Epistles of Timothy Pt4

The Apostle and Father in the faith to Timothy is leaving his last will and testament in these epistles. He loves Timothy as a Son, so Timothy likewise loves the Apostle as his own father. One who has led him in faith, truth, and verity. Now the Apostle in the second letter to Timothy gets to the final points he must make.

Here we see that although things in the Roman empire bring persecution to the group of believers because of their faith, they must learn to endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ. The believers must not entangle themselves in the workaday world of the Roman Empire. Here Paul is leading up to the times that are coming. Paul can tell through the Spirit of God that times will be exceedingly difficult and hard to bear. Paul readies his son in the faith for this so Timothy can prepare other believers for what is coming to the Roman Empire for all Christians.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
