So often it seems that faith, or the belief in something metaphysical isn't a beautiful thing, full of vigor and of life affirming inspiration. Often it is simply selfish, sometimes even cruel, or terribly self serving. Some believe that their metaphysical truths allow them power to curse those they deem necessary of retribution, or pain. Is this what faith is for? Others deem it as a requisition of power to acquire incredible wealth. Power to control events, hearts, minds, spirits, gods, people and more. Is this what faith is for? Others believe it to be a path to gain fortune, sex, fame and other shallow forms of validation or gratification. Is this what faith is for?
