In June of 1962 - three bank robbers escaped in the middle of the night from America's most notorious prison, Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary.  They were never seen again.

This is the first of a two part series detailing their plan, the eventual escape, and ultimately tackling the mystery of whether or not these men made it to freedom.
