Christ’s command to love God and love one another, as He has loved us. Jesus wanted to emphasize, that love for God is the source of love for the neighbour. And that, the love for neighbour demonstrates one's love for God. This is Jesus’ message for us in today’s time. He wants us to love the neighbour, as we love ourselves. Because loving ourselves is the measure for loving others.
